Lingue di gatto cocoa flat biscuits

10 minutes to prepare Serves 6

10 MINUTES

Lingue di gatto are simple biscuits to make. So easy that it was an assignment for my daughter Nina's summer camp.

Excellent eaten alone, but also as an accompaniment to creams - like Nutella - or mousses.
Here is the recipe for cat tongues with cocoa. Buon appetito!

Here are ingredients for a
6-serving recipe (approximately 15 biscuits):

50 g flour 00
50 g icing sugar
50 g butter
20 g cocoa powder
2 egg whites
1 pod vanilla
salt

  1. Start preparing the pastry: cut the butter into cubes and place it in a bowl. Add sugar, too, and knead it quickly
  2. Add flour and cocoa, both sifted, together with vanilla seeds
  3. Stir in the egg whites
  4. Preheat oven to 200°C
  5. Move on to the biscuits preparation: place the mixture in a sac a poche and create stick-shaped biscuits onto a floured sheet of baking parchment to a length of around 6 cm
  6. Bake them at 200°C for about 5 minutes
  7. Once cooked, pull out from the oven to let them cool...and enjoy!!!

Nutrition Facts are detailed in the table below. Data is provided per serving (approximately 6 biscuits).
