Marinated smoked salmon with pink pepper

5 minutes to prepare marinate Serves 4

Around our house we do not eat smoked salmon so often as I prefer the flavor of baked or grilled salmon.
However, it happened to me to receive a 400g smoked salmon package as a gift, and I did not want to waste it!

This pink-pepper marinated smoked salmon recipe is extremely easy to prepare as well as delicious.
For those of you who are watching calories then salmon is definitely a smart choice. A single serving of salmon has about 0 carbohydrates and 39g of protein.
With that said, let’s move on to the tasty part of salmon, ha ha!

Here are ingredients for the 4-serving recipe:

200 g smoked salmon
1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon white vinegar
20 pink pepper berries
EVO oil
salt and pepper

  1. Place the slices of smoked salmon in a saucepan
  2. In a small bowl, emulsify 2 tablespoons of EVO oil with the lemon juice, vinegar, and a pinch of salt. Add the pink pepper and mix again. Drop the liquid over the salmon and let it marinate for 2 hours
  3. Drain the salmon from the marinade and serve it with some salad as side dish...enjoy!

In the table below Nutrition Facts are detailed for this appetizer. Data is provided per serving.
