Buffalo mozzarella bites

Since we’re such big fans of this appetizer, we had to introduce you to this recipe for buffalo mozzarella bites.
Moreover, these herbal flavored cheese balls make delicious no cook party food that are so easy to make, you'll be done in 10 minutes flat.

Warning: Once you try the first one, you can’t stop.



Here's what you will need for the 4-serving recipe:


10 bites of fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons capers preserved in salt
10 leaves basil
20 g rocket
3 tablespoons black olives
1 teaspoon anchovy paste
1 lemon zest
EVO oil
salt and pepper


  1. Wash capers to remove the salt in which they are preserved, and drain them well
  2. Wash and chop finely all the herbs
  3. Chop olives and capers,too
  4. Place the anchovy paste in a blender, add the herbs, olives and capers, a pinch of salt (if needed), freshly ground pepper and blend for few seconds. Add some EVO oil to soften the mixture whether necessary
  5. Finally add the lemon zest and mix well
  6. At last, prepare the buffalo mozzarella bites: cut each bite by half and spread 1 half with 1 tablespoon of herb paste, then top it with the other half. Sprinkle with some lemon zest and bring to the table!
