Apple, walnuts, and Gorgonzola cheese salad

10 minutes to prepare Serves 4

10 MINUTES

I decided I’d follow up the long series of pasta-based posts with something slightly lighter.

I made this salad a couple of weeks ago, and it was a party for the taste buds.
My favorite salads are indeed the ones featuring different kind of ingredients: some fruit, some crunchy nut, some - and this is compulsory! - cheese...

Serve this with french fries for an unexpected treat!
Just kidding.
Maybe.

Here are ingredients for the 4-serving recipe:

200 g green salad
200 g Gorgonzola cheese
1 apple
1 fistful walnuts
EVO oil
salt

  1. Cut Gorgonzola cheese into small pieces and place it in a salad bowl
  2. Wash the green salad and the apple under running water. Cut the apple into thin slices. Add them to the salad bowl, too
  3. Season with the 4 tablespoons of EVO oil, add walnuts and stir to mix. Bon appetit!
