Pasta with Taleggio cheese and truffle

5 minutes to prepare Serves 4

10 MINUTES

It’s a crazy world out there, and you never know what will happen.
One day, you could be minding your own business and suddenly receive a real black truffle as a gift...
But, even if you are not that lucky and you can afford to, you should absolutely do it this one time, so that you can experience what black truffles really taste and smell like.
Forget everything you think you know about truffle oil and dive into the real thing!

Today's luxurious pasta requires only 4 ingredients, 1 pan, and 15 minutes to prepare.
It's kitchen alchemy at its best which marries some of Italy's best ingredients: pasta, Burgundy truffles and Taleggio, a creamy cheese from northern Italy, which forms the base for a silky, rich sauce, the perfect canvas for heady black truffle.
So easy, so indulgent.

Here's what you will need for the 4-serving recipe:

400 g pasta
100 g Taleggio cheese
1/2 black truffle
50 g butter
salt and pepper

  1. Cut Taleggio cheese into pieces and place it in a pan together with butter
  2. Melt them over low heat, stirring to mix, until you obtain a smooth cream. Add salt and pepper
  3. Boil water in a pot, add salt and once started to bubble, pour pasta. Make them cook for about 10 minutes (please refer to the cooking time specified on the package)
  4. Drain pasta al dente and stir it for a few moments with the Taleggio sauce. Wash and carefully brush the truffle to remove grit. Finally grate it on top of the pasta and serve immediately!

Whosoever says truffle, utters a grand word, which awakens erotic and gastronomic ideas...
