Nutella filled chip biscuits

Here are ingredients for a 7-serving recipe (approximately 20 biscuits):

 


400 g flour 00
150 g sugar
150 g butter
50 g chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 sachet vanilla baking powder
Nutella spread
salt


  1. First of all, freeze a dozen of Nutella spoons on a aluminium foil
  2. Start preparing the pastry: cut the butter into cubes and place it in a bowl. Add flour and vanilla baking powder, both sifted. Add sugar, too, and knead it quickly
  3. Stir in the eggs, then add a pinch of salt
  4. Add the chocolate chips and knead again
  5. Wrap dough with plastic wrap and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
  6. When we are close to the the 1-hour resting time of the pastry, preheat oven to 180°C
  7. Move on to the biscuits preparation: roll the dough out onto a floured sheet of baking parchment to a depth of around 5mm and press out your biscuits using a 5-cm round-with-hole-shaped cutter
  8. Place one spoon of frozen Nutella on top of half the biscuits. Then, cover them with another disk of dough and press along the edges to seal them
  9. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment and leave to cool in the fridge for 10 mins.
  10. Bake biscuits them at 180°C for about 15 minutes
  11. Once cooked, pull out from the oven and eat still warm
